Taiwan Exports Up 18.5% in May, Record Shipments to U.S.

Taiwan’s latest export data shows a total of nearly US$58 billion in orders in May, up 18.5% from last year. Fears of possible upcoming tariffs boosted exports to the U.S. to an all-time high of US$21.1 billion, a 40% increase from a year ago.
